Quanta’s SunZia mega-project: a 553-mile transmission line tied to ~916 wind turbines and two HVDC converter stations (one of the largest in the world), delivering clean power for 3+ million people. Crews coordinate across many operating units to conquer remote desert logistics, extreme weather, and brutal terrain (Faith Canyon among the toughest miles ever), while relocating 15,000+ saguaros/agaves to protect sensitive species.
